POSITION OVERVIEW
The Data Analyst Intern is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to help the organization make informed business decisions. This entry-level position supports the development of reports, dashboards, and data visualizations while maintaining data accuracy and consistency across systems.
duties & responsibilities
- Gather, clean, and organize data from multiple internal and external sources.
- Perform basic statistical analyses to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Build and maintain regular reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Assist in data validation, quality assurance, and database maintenance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting needs and deliver actionable insights.
- Document processes, data sources, and methodologies for reporting transparency.
- Support senior analysts or management with ad hoc data requests and projects.
Minimum Education and Experience:
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 0–2 years of relevant experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
- Basic understanding of SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Exposure to Python, R, or other analytics tools is a plus.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.?
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
