We recognize and appreciate the trust you have placed in us over the years, buying our top of the line precision machine tools, and allowing us to come inside your buildings to provide service and support. That is why I want to share an update on the actions we are taking at Methods to keep you – and our team members – safe amidst the COVID-19 outbreak.

Conscientious safety and care for you, our partners, and employees is core to the Methods family culture we have established over many years and you have come to rely on. We are listening to recommendations from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) as we strive to help protect our customers, partners and our team members.

We are giving our team members facts about COVID-19, training our managers and reminding them daily to follow simple, but effective steps to keep them safe such as frequent handwashing and social distancing. Through the use of technology/online tools, we plan to continue business as usual, progressing toward planned commitments and providing you with support. Much of our workforce is equipped with laptops, VPN access, and conferencing tools to be able to work remotely as needed. For some of our workforce that must be in our buildings, we are disinfecting our facilities and equipment, as appropriate, and on a daily basis. We have built contingency plans so we can continue to ship products and parts, while protecting our employees.

And as always, we are encouraging our team members to take any signs of illness seriously; to immediately self-quarantine as appropriate and seek medical attention as needed. We are closely monitoring the situation daily, and will adapt our recommendations, advice, and approaches as we get new information.
