Methods to Hold Multitasking Machining Seminars on December 16, 2009

Event to highlight the latest strategies in multitasking technology

Sudbury,MA - 11/10/2009 - Methods Machine Tools Inc., North America's leading supplier of innovative precision machine tools, has announced today they will be holding two Multitasking Machining Seminars on December 16, 2009 at their Sudbury, Massachusetts Technology Center. The complimentary seminars, offered in two convenient time tracks, will be featuring new multitasking strategies for manufacturing professionals in the demanding precision parts industry.

The first seminar will be featuring Nakamura Super NTMX-- the world's first twin ATC B-axis Lathe, and how it can change the way machinists approach complex part processing. The NTMX unique twin ATC design makes it easy for all levels of operators to take advantage of the latest in B-axis machining technology.

The second seminar, titled "The Tools You Need to Succeed" will instruct attendees via live machining demonstrations, how to reduce setup time by 50% or more on their current multitasking machines. Attendees are also encouraged to bring prints and parts to review with Methods applications experts.

At the seminars, attendees can also see other demonstrations on Nakamura's latest turning centers, such as 3-turret 3-Y axis machining on the new Super NTY3-Jumbo, thread whirling on the Super NTY3, and live, quick-change demonstrations on the WT-100.

In addition, the following companies will be displaying various tooling equipment: Hainbuch (workholding), Kennametal (KM quick change tooling), Heimatec (milling units), Sandvik (Capto System) and CAMplete Software (post-processing).

The seminars are available in two time tracks, one from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. and another from 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m., both including lunch and refreshments.
