New! MAM72-100H Five Axis Machining Center

Designed in response to user requests for a MAM72 with a larger work envelope and even greater processing capacity, the MAM72-100H features x-y-z travels of 41.33" x 36.22" x 37.79" and a pallet loading capacity of 1719 lbs. Like all of Matsuura's 5-axis machines, the MAM72-100H provides high quality, high speed simultaneous 5-axis machining. The A-/ B-axis table, with dual direct drive motors, turns at a maximum rotation rate of  50 m/m (A-axis; Tilting axis) or 75 m/m (B-axis; rotating axis), ensuring high speed and high precision. Designed utilizing FEM analysis for maximum rigidity, the MAM72-100H offers a uniquely stable machining platform when compared to machines in its capacity class range. Ideally designed for varied lot machining, the MAM72-100H can process a wide array of materials and offers users advanced, proven unmanned operations.

MAM72-25V Five Axis Machining Center

The MAM72-25V offers five sided, full five-axis machining. The pallet changer completes jobs in one or two operations that normally take four to five setups on a traditional VMC. Equipped as standard with high-speed maching software and an offline post processor, Matsuura simplifies entry into five-axis machining. A Matsuura G-Tech 30i control combined with a 50 RPM Fifth axis table makes for quick work of simultaneous, 2 + 3 and five axis work.

MAM72-42V Five Axis Machining Center

This medium sized machine completes the line up in the MAM72 Series. This is a high speed, highly accurate rigid machining center with a built in 4/5th Axis rotary table. It has all the capabilities and technology of the larger machines, with a smaller footprint where size matters. Long term unmanned operation is enabled by configuring the options of the automatic tool changer and automatic pallet changer. Machine overall footprint has been reduced by extensive engineering and a patent pending APC system with flip up arm type. The design changes incorporated into the MAM72-42V have made this an operator friendly machine utilizing easy access and tempered glass to ensure clearer vision for longer periods. For larger work sizes, the MAM72-63V is the most accurate and reliable solution to robust five-axis machinery. This machine has a bridge type construction for light finishing cuts as well as heavy duty roughing in hardened materials. The 40 taper Matsuura Hi-Tech Spindle has 80mm spindle bearings, allowing this five-axis machine unparalleled cutting performance. As a stand alone unit, the Matsuura MAM72-63V provides a large work area and easy access to the part through two operator doors. Standard in this package is an offline post-processor and collision detection software package.
