Automatic Electrode Changer
Current EDM has developed an Automatic Electrode Changer option for their models CT300 and CT500 CNC EDM Drills. With a compact carousel and unique design specifically for EDM drilling, the 24 station changer extends machine up-time. Together with the tool changer, Current EDM has developed a companion Automatic Electrode Guide Changer. It will reliably change up to 4 different diameter guides as often as required by specific job requirements. These new devices, coupled with Current EDM's proven CNC technology, reduce operator attention and enable high volume, unattended drilling.
MT-40S
The EDMDrill, MT40S adds the extra dimension of EDM drilling to your manual CNC milling machine. The MT40S will handle such difficult applications as drilling small diameter holes through hardened alloys, vent holes in molds, and start holes in tungsten carbine for wire EDM. All these tasks can be performed at high speeds, without limiting your milling capacity.
The MT40S is a great solution for EDM drilling in both large, awkward parts and in advanced materials. Mount and surface index units for production work or "fixture" the head for horizontal burning. Effectively drill holes with electrode diameters from .004" to .256" using economical water dielectric fluid.
CT-300S
Current EDM continues to set the industry standard with the CT-300S. This model drills deep, angled holes in hardened alloys using electrodes .004" - .256" in diameter. A tough and powerful compact unit, the CT300 will add flexibility to your shop. The controller allows you to program off-line, upload files, reduce setup time, and improve accuracy with automatic part referencing. Offering 57 peak amps, and the user friendly control programs 5-axes, givng you 9 coordinate systems, canned cycle routines, and electrode wear compensation cycles for blind hole applications.
