The fast and capable Robodrill machine center coupled with a pallet changer for JIT setups, makes this model the ultimate job shop production center.  The pallet changer allows the machine spindle to keep working while additional setups or unloading operations are going on. 

Fanuc has developed their own brand of 4th axis, with linear motors.  These systems offer no backlash, with no worm gear drive.  Running at 100 RPM, the DDR system is fast and accurate, as well as being less expensive than traditional worm drive 4th axis systems.
