Methods Machine Tools Co-op Program:
Methods Machine Tools offers diverse co-op experiences for students to put to practice the principals learned in the classroom in a real world, practical method. Our co-op program exposes students to cutting-edge manufacturing technologies and equipment under the guidance of numerous industry veterans.
The Co-op Cycle
Our college co-ops are hired for either 3 or 6 months assignments (depending on the school requirement) and work full-time, 40 hour work weeks. Typically, we operate on a trimester rotation schedule (January, May, and September start dates) but have flexibility to accommodate the college’s academic calendar. Candidates should inquire and apply 8-10 weeks before their target start date for available positions.
For individuals seeking a career in manufacturing, the skills developed in our co-op program will be invaluable to your future. To be considered for a position students should be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical degree in a related field. Typical candidates will either be in mechanical, manufacturing, industrial, systems, electrical, robotics, or electromechanical engineering disciplines. We seek candidates who are hands-on, creative, organized, ambitious, and eager to learn.
