The qualified candidate should have at least 5 years hands on experience in:
- CNC Lathe and Mill operation, installation and repair

- Spindle replacement and repair
- Ball-Screw alignment and replacement

CNC Service Technician - Wixom, MI

Automation/Robotics Engineer - Sudbury, MA
Department: Application Engineering, Automation Group
Reports To: Automation Manager
Responsibility:
Assist in the assembly, programming, installation, and training of industrial robot based automation systems for machine tool loading, both at Methods' facility and at customer's facilities nationwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Programming of robots
- Mechanical assembly, electrical assembly, and installation of robot based automation systems at both Methods' facility and customer facilities nationwide.
- Training of end users/customers both at Method's facility and customer facilities nationwide.
- Servicing customer with both phone and onsite support
- Assist in the debugging of complete robotic and machine tool systems.
- Writing technical processes/manuals for robotic systems
- Managing a list of tasks with regards to a timeline to meet delivery dates
Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications:
- Fanuc Robotics robot programming proficiency preferred, would consider other robot programming proficiencies.
- Electrical/electronic aptitude including knowledge of basic electronic components, circuits, electrical diagrams.
- Knowledgeable in working with ladder diagrams and programs.
- Mechanical aptitude
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally with both co-workers and customers
- Proficient in math
- CNC programming knowledge helpful
- Ability to travel is a must.
Education:
- High School required
- College, Electrical Engineering Degree Preferred
